China joins the Hague System for international registration of industrial designs

WIPO reports about the accession of China to the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs.

As it is well known, Hague System allows up to 100 designs to be included in one application and after that registered in 90 Member states. This saves a lot of time and money for the applicants.

The Agreement will come into force for China on 05.05.2022, after this date the country can be designated in applications for industrial designs.

Belarus joins the Hague Agreement

WIPO reports about the accession of Belarus to the the Hague Agreement for international registration of industrial designs. In this way the participating Member States of the Hague system has become 66. The agreement will come into force for the country on April 19, 2021. After this date every owner of designs will be able to designate Belarus in its design applications.

Mexico joins the Hague Agreement

mexico-1460659_1920WIPO reports about the accession of Mexico to the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs.

As it is known, this Agreement allows one industrial design to be registered in different Member States based on one application and one fee.

The Agreement will come into force for Mexico on 06.06.2020.

Russia joins the Hague Agreement

flag-russia-bigWIPO reports about the accession of the Russian Federation to the Hague Agreement for international registration of industrial designs. The Agreement will take force for the country on 28.02.2018. Russia is the 53rd country member of the Hague Agreement.
